Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some of the most commonly asked questions I’ve received regarding fitness training and my work. If you don’t find the answer you’re looking for, please reach out and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

How much do you charge for a session?

A personalised training session is $60 for 45 minutes.  If you would like to train as a group I charge $35 each for 2 people, $25 each for 3 people.

How many sessions will I need per week?

How many sessions will I need?

Most people train with me 1-2 times per week, and I can suggest exercises for you to do at home between sessions.  It's about consistency and building strength and mobility incrementally.

What types of home fitness equipment do you recommend?

 I would suggest a couple of sets of dumbbells (1 lighter & 1 heavier), relative to your strength capabilities,  

a set of therabands with handles (with lighter & heavier options ). 

A rod of some description (ie a broom handle would work) 

That is basically all you need to get started!

How are you different from a regular gym trainer?

I feel I can relate to many different age groups, and offer a very personalised service, specific to your individual needs, both physically & emotionally.  I have the experience to know when to push my clients harder or when to pull back.  (A lot of trainers just want to “smash” their clients & think that’s a sign of a good session, but this is not necessarily the case at all!) 

 I am very passionate about what I do, and feel this translates into every single session I provide.  I have an extremely high client retention rate, of which I’m very grateful & proud of, many clients training with me for 6,7 & even 10 years or more.
